Patience

Australian John Senden finally won a PGA major on his 139th start---the John Deere Classic at Silvis, Illinois on July 16. On the same day, Natalie Gulbis lost out to Mi Hyun in a playoff at the Jamie Owens Corning Classic in Sylvania, Ohio. It’s been 4 ½ years and counting for Natalie looking for her first LPGA Tour victory.

Patience, patience, patience! Golf sure teaches us that.

Every tournament I’m in, I want to win. Most of the time, it doesn’t turn out that way. I’m learning to be patient. I know that one day, the win will come, as it did in my amateur days. Keeping focused, being present, aiming for consistency, letting go of where I just came from---that’s part of being patient.
