Feeling Better About Ball Striking

I’m glad my ball striking is coming round. Narrow fairways with lots of rough like at Oakland Hills this week make it a lot tougher on the players. Those who are straight shooters off the tee definitely have an advantage. I’ve been battling the opposite for awhile.

Maybe the long layoff because of my finger injury helped a bit. I was forced to work on my short game for weeks on end. I could only take partial strokes. I’ve also spent time on a lot of machines. I always find that kind of feedback really worthwhile.

I’ve been keeping myself busy with Minor League events. Soon, I’ll be back in my home town in Mississauga to play in another Canadian Tour event.
