Clumping: A Brutal Experience

Every once in awhile things happen in clumps. My Mum tells me it’s a normal thing that mathematicians talk about. You know the feeling that you’re just having a bad day---no matter what you do, nothing works. Well, the statisticians say, that’s the way the coin falls—sometimes great, sometimes not so great. Today, I certainly experienced the coin falling the wrong way!

The course and the weather were both tough to manage. I made strategic errors in my choice of clubs and my swing off the tee started giving me trouble. All in all, not fun!

Tomorrow’s another day, as the saying goes.

Back to the practice range.
