Rallying With A Firm Goal
I needed something to get me back in the game. At the Gateway Winter Series Championship in Phoenix, Arizona my first day was not good. With nowhere to go but up, I set myself a goal: get 12 under for the tournament. It worked.
Funny how things go. I didn’t feel comfortable the first day about anything. My short game wasn’t good—not making putts. I wasn’t getting the shots up and down. Couldn’t get it together.
But I found some momentum after that. Having my eye on a clear goal really helped.
