Working on the "Feeling Thing"

I’m working on balancing my competitive and analytical nature with the “feeling thing”. I’m learning to relax more over the ball, to “gear down”.

I had one really good round this week—a 65. It reminds me of what I can do when I relax.

Funny things happen on the course though. On the second hole, of a golf course I’m familiar with, I always hit a driver over the lake without any problems. The drive felt good. I expected to carry on as usual. But I never found my ball. No one else saw it either. It’s a mystery. So, I had to take a penalty and hit it again. Those are the times when it’s hard to stay relaxed!
