Choosing Priorities

I was booked to try out for the Canadian Tour last week. It was tough to decide not to go. When I weighed my priorities, I decided to focus on other things right now.

I’m playing in some small local tournaments and working on my game, especially the mental side. I’m going to try out for a couple of upcoming Nationwide tournaments as part of preparing for PGA Q-school.

I also did something I never expected. I got a kitten. I named him “Juno”. He keeps me awake at night sometimes but he’s fun to be around.

De-Cluttering My Mind

I’m shooting better. It’s a great feeling to gain back more control off the tee.

But, to keep it going, I’m working on getting the clutter out of my mind. My determination and tendency towards the technical can distract me from just “playing golf”.
