Getting Confidence Back

My layoff of almost two months with a finger injury is like being in a hospital for awhile. Once back in the real world, it takes a bit of time to adjust and get back to normal.

My third place finish at a Gateway event this week bolstered my confidence. I’m now feeling more like myself on the golf course. I’m back to making lots of birdies and striking the ball more consistently.

My work with Sean Foley for the past year on my long game is beginning to pay off. Marius Filmater’s detailed feedback on my short game has also been great. My game is at a much better level than last year.

I’m signed up for the first stage of PGA Q-School in Florida. In the meantime, my job is to practice, see my coaches, play friendly games with my many golf buddies and get into as many Minor League Tournaments as possible.
