An Important Step Forward

It feels good to become a member of the Canadian Tour. The guys who welcomed us said all the right things. They told us they are there to support us. That’s a great message, to know that they will help us all to succeed.

Even though I am a non-exempt member---missed exempt by two shots---I will have opportunities to improve my status. That’s really motivating.

One of my goals for the first half of 2008 was to gain some status before PGA Q-School in November. Now, my goal is to move up a few categories in status at the Canadian Tour.

In the Hunt

I’m seeing good signs with my game. Keeping things steadier.

It was good to be in the hunt at last week’s Gateway event. I could see I had a chance at winning. Came close with a tie for third.

That keeps me motivated.
