Mental Toughness Messages from "Golden Oldy" Books
There are some messages that last. My parents, grandparents and mentors read “mental toughness” books long before the Internet and science provided proof.
I am starting out 2010 with some of their suggestions.
The Power of Positive Thinking and Enthusiasm Makes a Difference (Norman Vincent Peale)
The Greatest Miracle in the World (Og Mandino)
Think and Grow Rich (Napoleon Hill)
Mind work is a lifetime job. These “golden oldies” will be a great addition to my personal development library.
Quote from Thomas Carlyle in The Power of Positive Thinking (1952):
“Silence is the element in which great things fashion themselves”.
